Genesis Today Trim Protein Powder Review
For the past couple months, I’ve been trying to be a healthier Sunbuns… I’ve been cutting down on sugar, fried foods, excess calories, empty carbs, gluten, you name in it! I’ve actually lost 10 lbs already and I have another 5 to go before I’m officially pre-preg weight (clearly, you can tell I’ve been taking my take with this). My end goal: to be able to wear my old school wardrobe like it’s new school. That’s all.
Anyhoo, one of the changes I’ve been making has been incorporating matcha, yerba mate, basically any all-natural metabolism boosters into my diet. One of the latest “slimming” drinky-drinky I’ve been sippin’ on is Genesis Today’s Trim Protein Powder with Superfoods, $29.99. It contains an enzyme-activated protein blend of quinoa, amaranth, chia and other sprouted seeds, along with Garcinia cambogia (which supposedly blocks your body’s ability to make fat and puts the brakes on your appetite!) and superfruits up the yin-yang like goji, acai, and mangosteen.
Let’s talk numbers!
• 16 g of plant-based protein per serving
• 12 Enzyme-activated sprouted seeds
• 1.6 g of Garcinia cambogia per serving
Other Ingredients: Organic plant-based protein proprietary blend (organic sprouted brown rice (seed) protein concentrate, organic pea (seed) protein concentrate, organic sacha inchi (seed) protein, organic sunflower (seed) protein, organic sesame (seed) protein), organic tapioca (root) starch, organic banana (fruit), natural berry and vanilla flavors, organic stevia (leaf) extract.
This blend is super tasty and it complements any type of smoothie (at least the ones I’ve tried thus far). I also really love how there are zero artificial flavors or synthetic vitamins.
Directions: Shake or blend 2 scoops in 6 to 8 oz. of water or beverage of your choice. I prefer rocking this in a tropical smoothie – fav recipe here.
